THE FIRST WORLD CARNIVAL

 

On Sunday September 11, 1988  a  concert titled "Sport Aid" - "The First World Carnival" was organized at Hillsborough Park in Sheffield England.

Planned in conjunction with the Sport Aid event this  concert featured Eddie Grant, Womack and Womack, Climie Fisher, Heaven 17,
The Proclaimers, Mica Paris, Helen Watson, and special guest star Status Quo.
