POST LIVE AID EVENTS


Immediately following the Live Aid event, multiple organizations mobilized to form and create events and fund raisers in attempt to continue raising funds and awareness for the famine in Africa.
Listed below are a couple of events that helped bring additional funds to Africa relief.

Each of the organizations adopted the term "Aid" at the back end of their title and most if not all of the proceeds were earmarked for the Band Aid Trust. Bob Geldof, the brainchild of the Live Aid concert approved and was involved in most of these historical events.
