Mory Kante, Ghetto Blaster, Souzy Kasseya, Ray Lema, and others including
Youssou N'Dour. Includes Ismaila Touré on congas, Touré Kunda in the choir, and
lyrics and singing in Wolof by Ismaila, Sixu and Ousmane Touré Kunda. The track
was recorded on December 21-23, 1984.
"Starvation" features British acts UB40, Madness, The Pioneers, The Specials,
General Public, Dick Cuthell, Annie Whitehead, Afrodiziak, and Gasper Lawal. The
12" single also includes "Haunted" by Dick Cuthell featuring Afrodiziak.
