As a direct result of Band Aid's song "Do They Know It's Christmas?", multiple artists across the world entered recording studios on their own time to record "their" version of an aid relief song.

Musicians in Yugoslavia, Hungary, Norway, Finland, Germany, France, Australia, Canada, USA, South America, Italy, Jamaica, Wales and Africa united for a single cause.
