It goes without saying that the purpose for this site is to document history. If there wasn't a famine and death and sickness there would not have been a concert. Although most of the history books have gotten it all wrong, there is still a chance to educate and inform.  There is still a chance to learn from the mistakes of the past and pave way for new direction.
